Farms & imbuements
The pens
There are 18 pens around the town and in the south: four big ranches and fourteen small pens. First come, first served, one per account. You pay the price once and then a weekly tax.
| Pen | Animals | Price | Weekly tax | |---|---|---|---| | Big ranch (Eastwood, Temple, Fields, Southern) | 8 | 120,000 | 15,000 | | Small pen (the other fourteen) | 4 | 40,000 | 5,000 |
- Click the fence of a pen (any side) to see who owns it, or to buy it if it is free.
- Each pen has a gate: only the owner can open it and go inside.
- Big ranches hold twice the animals, store twice the meat and make it 25% faster.
- Pay the tax up to 4 weeks ahead. Two days late and the pen goes back on sale: Brenna buys your animals (half price) and the gold and the meat wait for you at the bank.
Animals
Buy animals right at the fence. They make meat on their own, even while you are offline: no feeding, no breeding. Just come back and collect. A small pen stores up to 40 pieces and a ranch 80; when it is full, the animals stop.
| Animal | Price | Meat | Every | |---|---|---|---| | Chicken | 3,000 | 1 Roast Chicken | 3 h | | Sheep | 6,000 | 1 Mutton Chop | 4 h | | Pig | 10,000 | 2 Pork Roast | 6 h | | Cow (owner level 25+) | 25,000 | 2 Beef Steak | 8 h |
Taking an animal out gives back half its price.
Hunting meals
Each meat is a meal for 1 hour, and every meal also gives extra experience from creatures, so hunters always want one. One meal at a time: eating another replaces it. These bonuses only exist through the farms, and meat can be sold to other players like any item.
| Meal | Bonus | |---|---| | Roast Chicken | +12% speed, +5% critical and +5% experience | | Mutton Chop | +40% mana regeneration, +12% max mana and +6% experience | | Pork Roast | +12% max health, +6 defense and +8% experience | | Beef Steak | +15% damage and +12% experience |
Imbuements
Brenna the Rancher, in the middle of the town, imbues a slot of your equipment with meat and some gold. It lasts 20 hours of play (the time only runs while you are online), stacks with the forge and stays on the slot even if you change the item. One imbuement per slot: a new one replaces the old.
| Imbuement | Meat | Bonus (item up to lv 14 / 15–29 / 30+) | Slots | |---|---|---|---| | Swift | Roast Chicken | +3% / +4% / +6% critical | weapon, ring, amulet | | Wisdom | Mutton Chop | +50 / +90 / +140 mana | head, armor, amulet | | Guard | Pork Roast | +3 / +5 / +8 defense | armor, legs, head, feet, shield | | Might | Beef Steak | +5% / +7% / +10% damage | weapon, shield |
Cost by the level of the item in the slot: 3 / 6 / 10 meat and 800 / 2,500 / 6,000 gold.
Mini mounts (beta event)
For a short time during the beta, the animals in the pens can give birth to something rare: a mini mount. It shows up with the meat, and the pen owner gets a message. After the event no more are ever born, so the only way to get one is from a player who has one.
| Mini mount | From | Speed | |---|---|---| | Cloud Lamb | Sheep | +10% | | Truffle Piglet | Pig | +15% |
It is a normal item: you can trade it or sell it at a stall.
Mounts
Besides the mini mounts there are four full-size mounts. None of them is born in a pen; they are items like any other, traded between players or sold at stalls.
| Mount | Speed | |---|---| | War Boar | +18% | | Grey Wolf | +20% | | Saddle Lizard | +22% | | Chestnut Horse | +25% |
Riding: press N, or open the mount in your backpack and press Ride (on a phone, the ride button). Taking damage throws you off, and you can only climb back on after a few seconds out of combat. Mounts stay outside dungeons and arenas.
